F1 IN SCHOOLS

WHAT IS F1 IN SCHOOLS?

F1 In Schools is one of the largest STEM initiative programs in the world, with over 17,000 schools participating in the program each year. In Australia alone, over 22,000 students participate in this program each year.

The competition involves designing and constructing a miniature F1 car, which is powered by a canister containing compressed carbon dioxide. There are also many other aspects of the competition such as gaining sponsorship, establishing a team identity, managing a team, and much more.

While progressing through this competition, students develop many skills that are vital in future jobs in industries involving STEM. Students also gain experience working in a professional and productive environment.
